I NEVER Lie

The title of this blog is a lie, I lie sometimes if it will get me out of trouble, unless I need to fess up about it.  Sometimes I blame things on my sister because it will get her into trouble and me out of trouble.  One time I turned the pool heater on to 95 degrees and the pool started steaming and so did my dad, he had steam pouring out of his ears and eyes.  I knew if I did not blame her I would be in a lot of trouble and I could not risk potentially being grounded. But hey thats what big sisters are for right?... This type of lie was an exception I rarely allow myself to flat out lie because it is bad for the soul.  However, I believe white lies are quite alright as long as you do not get carried away and or do it all the time.  For example, if someone asked if they looked fat, you obviously would not admit that they were because that would make them self- conscientious, so that type of lying is A OK.  My sister and I would always get in trouble for lying about who hurt who, because when she use to hurt me she would pretend that I hurt her, so we both got in-trouble.  This was not fair but at-least we both got blamed. Also, if you think about it parents lie to their children all the time, like when Christmas roles around, they always say Santa is coming and he does not, or when you lose a tooth, the tooth fairy comes, nope actually its your parents.  And Parents are the ones who teach their children it is shameful to lie, so basically they are being hypocritical. Well in the end everyone lies no matter how hard you may try not to, you will.
